RHOME (October 7, 2009)--Four men were in Fort Worth hospitals Wednesday after a twin-engine airplane on a flight from Oklahoma to Texas crashed not far from Fort Worth.

The Texas Department of Public Safety identifies the four as R.J. Schumacher, 84, and Jerry Namy, 61, both of Fort Worth, and Kendall Wayne Hill, 68, of Alvord, and John Rodney Lawrence, 64, of Weatherford.

Schumacher, Lawrence and Hill were all in critical condition Wednesday at John Peter Smith Hospital, a hospital spokeswoman said.

Namy was in serious condition at Texas Health Harris Methodist Fort Worth hospital, a spokeswoman said.

The Federal Aviation Administration said the Beechcraft King Air B100 went down about 2:45 p.m. Tuesday near Eagle Mountain Lake, about 20 miles northwest of Fort Worth.

The FAA said the plane had taken off from Wiley Post Airport in Oklahoma City and was bound for Fort Worth's Meacham Airport when the pilot reported that both engines had failed.
