PASADENA (December 21, 2009)--A Pasadena woman accused of shooting her husband and the couple next door has been charged with murder after the female neighbor died, police said.

Tanya Lin Schmidt, 40, was in the Harris County jail on Sunday in lieu of $80,000 bond.

Officials say the female neighbor died after she was taken to the hospital following the shootings Saturday night.

The woman's husband and the male neighbor were in stable condition, police said.

Pasadena police spokesman Vance Mitchell told the Houston Chronicle detectives are investigating a yearlong dispute between the two couples.

“The only one we can talk to is the accused shooter because two of the victims have been in surgery and the other one is dead,” he said.
