Born in Texas and raised a Marine brat, Nichole is happy to be back home and closer to family after living in Arkansas for eight years.
Originally from San Antonio, Nichole joined the News 10 team as a Video Journalist in November 2012.
Nichole noticed her passion for journalism midway through her college career.
Once she got her hands on a camera and began visually telling people stories, she knew TV news is where her future would lead her.
She interned at Fox 16 in Little Rock, AR where she learned from inspiring journalists who were even better people.
Nichole graduated from the Lemke Department of Journalism at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. During her time at the UofA she was a reporter for her campus television news station UATV.
She was also a crew member for her school's sports broadcast academy, Razorvision. Through Razorvision, Nichole was the stage manager for the Inside Razorback Football with Bobby Petrino show and Countdown to Kickoff: Pregame show.
She had the privilege of attending the 2012 Mid-America Emmy Awards in September where the news magazine style show she reported for won an Emmy in the College/University Student Productions category.
Nichole enjoys all types of dancing, reading a good book, spending time with friends and family and catching up on her favorite TV shows.
