Stephanie has always been familiar with the history of Central Texas from stories her grandparents told her about their lives growing up in Lorena.
Now, she is excited to watch Central Texas' growth firsthand as a reporter and producer at News 10.
Her passion for news developed when she was just a teenager living in the Piney Woods of East Texas in Kilgore.
She graduated from Baylor University in 2005.
During her time as a Baylor Bear, she became involved in the Valley Mills community just a short trip down Highway Six and wrote for "The Baylor Lariat."
She also had wonderful opportunities to travel to Guadalajara, Mexico, Haiti, and to intern at ABC's Good Morning America in New York.
After college, Stephanie's enthusiasm for international travel took her to Thailand where she taught English at the Chitralada Palace School in Bangkok.
Her passion for journalism pulled her back to Central Texas.
In 2006, she became a producer for News 10 and now enjoys working behind the scenes and on camera.
Her favorite stories are the ones she finds in random conversations with people, so feel free to send her an e-mail or say “Hi” at the grocery store.
