Although she grew up in San Antonio, Megan is no stranger to Central Texas.

Her father was born and raised in Teague and she can remember visiting there as well as Waco for family reunions.

After graduating high school, Megan returned to the area to become a Baylor Bear.

Now, she just can't seem to break away, jumping right into a career here at News Ten, after walking across the stage at the Ferrell Center.

She began behind the scenes, waking up when most people were going to bed to produce News Ten This Morning.

From there, she went on to produce the noon, five and six o'clock newscasts before settling into the 10 p.m. broadcast.

Now, in addition to producing, she's stepping in front of the camera to report on the people and places she's written about for years.

When she's not hard at work on a newscast or a story, Megan enjoys watching her favorite basketball team, the San Antonio Spurs, and going to any Baylor sporting event.

She also loves traveling, spending time with her family, and like any woman, shopping for shoes.
