Originally from Beltsville, Maryland, David grew up with the Nation's Capital as a backdrop and has always had a strong interest in news.
The older of two children, David says his parents remain two of the most influential role models of his life, instilling core values that helped shape him into the adult he is today.
David joins News 10 as a Video Journalist/Reporter. He comes to Central Texas from Indianapolis, Indiana, where he worked as an assignments editor for ABC affiliate WRTV-TV.
Before WRTV, David worked as a reporter/photographer, producer and fill-in anchor for NewsLink Indiana a University-run newscast on PBS affiliate WIPB-TV.
David also worked on Connections Live!, a student-staffed community television show also appearing on WIPB, where he had the opportunity to interview legendary zookeeper “Jungle Jack” Hanna as a bearcat crawled upon his own back. The show won its 6th Emmy award during David’s tenure.
In 2007, David interned with WTVD-TV ABC 11 Eyewitness News in Raleigh and Durham, North Carolina where he was able to research and help cover the Duke University Lacrosse case alongside the national media.
David graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Telecommunications with a concentration in news.
As a student, David worked as a reporter, photographer, producer, anchor and News Director for Emmy Award winning NewsWatch, a county-wide student newscast.
An avid traveler, David has been to Australia, Canada as well as many states across the nation. David hopes one day travel the world and even attempt skydiving!
David says he joined News 10 just days before his birthday and considers the position to be one of the best birthday gifts he’s ever received.
David is thrilled to make Central Texas his new home and hopes he can adjust to the hot Texas summers.
