Eli Ross never thought he would call Central Texas home. But since moving here in May, he has fallen in love with the people and the area. Eli joined the News 10 team in May 2006.

Eli was born in Salem, Oregon, and grew up in Overland Park, Kan.

Eli attended Northwestern University, where he graduated with a degree in Political Science. In college, Eli interned at ABC's Good Morning America, and Bloomberg Financial Television.

He also spent his senior year in college working as a freelance producer for ABC's NewsOne.

After graduating from college, Eli moved to Boston to pursue a career in consulting.

But he realized his heart really was in journalism, so Eli moved to New England Cable News, where he worked as a morning writer.

Eli attended Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.

He graduated from there with a Masters in Broadcast Journalism.

After graduating, he worked as a General Assignment Reporter with KAUZ-TV in Wichita Falls.

Eli's work has taken all over Texas, but his favorite stories have always been right here close to home.
