Adam Winkler joined the KWTX sports team as a sports reporter/anchor in July of 2007. He previously worked as the weekend sports anchor at KNOE, the top-rated station in Monroe, Louisiana. The Louisiana Associated Press twice honored Adam with the award for Best Sportscast for his work as co-host on the Friday Night Blitz football show, Louisiana's highest rated high school highlight show. Joining News 10 is a homecoming for Adam who grew up Houston, and after graduating from Klein High School, played college baseball at Southwestern University in Georgetown. Adam helped the Pirates capture a conference championship in 2002 and received his Communication Studies degree in 2004. Adam is thrilled to be back home in the Lone Star state as part of the KWTX team!
