Three Local Teenagers Robbed At Gunpoint
Temple police were looking for leads Wednesday in a pair of armed robberies, one of which targeted three teenagers.

TEMPLE (February 24, 2010)—Police in Temple were looking for leads Wednesday after two armed robberies overnight.
The first happened at around 9:30 p.m. when a car in which four people were riding pulled up next to three 17-year-old Temple boys in the 3400 block of Stratford.
Three of the four people in the car got out and one pointed a handgun at the teenagers and demanded money.
The four, all of whom were black, fled with personal items taken from the teenagers.
The second holdup was reported at around 3:40 a.m. Wednesday at the Walgreens store at 3614 S. 31st St.
The victim was a 46-year-old Temple delivery driver who was working in the back of his truck when an armed man approached, pointed a gun at him and demanded money.
The robber, who was black, left empty handed.
He was last seen running south through the parking lot.
No one was injured in either robbery, police said.

If you were not one of the ones chatting it up about racism then I obviously was not talking about you. So, I do not understand what your point is. The people that were being "mindless" and "insensible" have not replied.
If you read my reply, and earlier post you would see two things. First, I did make suggestions on how to lower the crime rate, without blaming any individual race, creed, color, religion, sexual preference, or left vs. right hand preference. Second, you cannot make comments about people being "mindless" and "insensible" and not expect some sort of reply.
I may be wrong, but I do not see much discussion involving effective ways to lower the crime rate. If you actually read my comment then you would see that I said,"unless you plan on going out and working to lower the crime rate in our community then please quit tryng to act intelligent on a local news website." In other words, if you would like to talk about ways to effictively lower the crime rate in this community then be my guest. However, the continuation of arguing over how many black people commit crimes or how racist it is to say that black people commit most of these type of crimes is incredibely pointless. By the way, while you think you know everything about this situation, you really absolutely don't. My brother, and his friends, have done anything but hide from this. He as a citizen is "demanding better", as you would say, and doing everything he can to make sure that other people do not have to go through what he did.
