Truck driver is our dearest friend, so very very sad. Tragedy for all involved. Sorry for the Wallace family's loss. Praying God's comfort finds each and every one.
My son saw the whole thing happen, he locked eyes with this person just before he ran into the traffic.
I have to say I am sorry for all involved. I pasted by the accident a little after it happened, I was so shocked we past not even 4 ft from the body. The scary part is it could be anyone that could it could have happened to we pass this area at least 4 times a week. Since I travel with my husband it scares me people don't think before their actions. Keep in mind this is over 50 ft of steel that is not going to stop when u slam on the brakes. Prayers go out to all u truckers be safe out on the road. As for pedestrians be aware of your surroundings before crossing into traffic.
