TEMPLE (February 27, 2010)—A woman whose SUV crashed into a house early Saturday morning in the 1300 block of North Martin Luther King Street in Temple was taken to Scott & White Hospital.

The woman’s name was not immediately released, but fire officials said she was in her 30s.

The SUV caught on fire after crashing into the house shortly before 2 a.m. Saturday, but the resident was able to help the woman to safety, fire officials said.
