Death Of Central Texas Man Hit By 18-Wheeler Ruled A Suicide
The death of a Temple man who ran in front of an 18-wheeler on Interstate 35 has been ruled a suicide, police said Friday.

TEMPLE (February 25, 2010)—A 56-year-old man who died on Feb. 25 after running into the path of a car hauler on Interstate 35 near the Adams Avenue exit in Temple committed suicide, police said Friday.
Ronald Wayne Wallace died at the scene.
The 18-wheeler was traveling at about 65 miles per hour when it struck him, police said.
“The investigation into this case revealed that Mr. Wallace intentionally stepped in front of the vehicle that struck him on I-35,” Temple police said Friday.
“The case has therefore been ruled a suicide.”
No charges are pending against the 57-year-old truck driver, who’s from Mansfield, police said.

im sorry but i feel that the very first comment is so selfish-for them to say that if your going to commit suicide do it on your own time-how selfish do you ppl get..and i think that they should feel bad for the victim and stop thinking of only themselves because you also have to think about what the victims family is going through because you may not know how it feels to have lost someone close to you but i do..so i feel for both the victim and the truck driver
great - no charges against the truck driver. he just has to live with this for the rest of HIS life. People - if you want to commit suicide, please do it on your own time and don't bring other people into the plot. Do you have any idea how hard it is to know that you killed a human being with the vehicle you make your living with? I feel for the family, but definitely not the 'victim'.
