Kids Escape From Burning Central Texas House
Three children younger than 14 escaped safely Wednesday after a fire broke out in the living area of their home.

WACO (July 28, 2010)—Three children, ages 9, 11, and 13, escaped safely Wednesday afternoon after fire broke out in their home in the 1200 block of Frost in Waco.
The fire was reported just after 4 p.m. Wednesday.
Firefighters were initially concerned that the three youngsters were trapped inside the burning house, but the first crews on the scene determined the three had gotten out safely, Assistant Waco Fire Chief Patrick Kerwin said.
It appears the fire started in a converted garage-living area, Kerwin said.
The cause is under investigation.

K-TOWN and Anonymous: If you would put on here where you have started taking donations of items/money, I will be glad to donate. I agree with PM, Jen, and Jacee. Do something to get it started yourselves. One difference I can see is the tragic loss of life in the Gatesville fire. The other one lost material things which can be replaced through home or renters insurance. The burn victims and their families will never be the same and they will NEVER recover from the loss of a child. Gatesville pulled together as a community. Neighbors and the community around these people can pull together to help just as the Gatesville community did. I feel and will pray for BOTH families, but I too am offended and disgusted by Anonymous' and K-Town's remarks. Sometimes thoughts are better left in your head.

it's good to hear all is safe... Iam sure they won't get the kind of help that the gatesville family received. The family here is still displaced. They need community help also....

So glad the kids were not harmed. My question is, "Where they home alone?"
