Waco Ross Store Abruptly Stops Accepting Pesos
The Waco Ross Dress for Less store was no longer accepting Mexican currency Thursday, but no one was saying why the store ended the practice.

WACO (July 29, 2010)—After accepting Mexican currency in payment for several years, the Waco Ross Dress for Less store abruptly ended the practice Thursday and while employees here confirmed Wednesday that pesos were accepted, a Ross corporate spokesperson denied Thursday that the store ever accepted Mexican money.
The store does accept foreign debit and credit cards and the spokesperson said employees who said the store accepted pesos were referring to those when they responded to the question of whether Mexican currency was accepted.
When asked during a phone call Thursday if the store accepted pesos, an employee said “No” and hung up.
Employees of the Waco store said Wednesday, however, they had accepted Mexican currency for several years, but the spokesperson said corporate officials had no knowledge of that.
Some Ross stores closer to the U.S.-Mexico border are authorized to accept Mexican currency in payment and stores in other markets in the U.S. accept Canadian and Japanese currency in payment, the spokesperson said.

They should have to close the store. They stare at you like trash when you go in their anyway. Let em move it south of the border where thry can accept their kind of money. Put a good american business in it's place so proud americans don't mind going in the store.
