(March 6, 2008)--Parts of Ohio are still without power this morning in the aftermath of Tuesday's ice storm.
Nearly 100,000 homes and business lost power at the height of the storm and it could be late Thursday before all of it is back on.
Snow, ice and flooding closed roads and schools throughout the state Wednesday.
The Red Cross opened shelters in Ashtabula and Ravenna.
A spokesman for FirstEnergy Power Company says Ashtabula and Portage counties were particularly hard hit when tree limbs weighted down with ice snapped power lines.
