Humid Days - Isolated Rain!
From Rusty Garrett:

There will be additional chances for widely scattered showers and thunderstorm activity Friday through Sunday. Otherwise, we will continue with very warm and humid conditions....with what appears to be a relatively rain-free Labor Day Monday.

Tropical Storm Gustav is over the island of Jamaica after reorganizing southward overnight. Maximum winds are 70 mph and the storm is expected to strengthen back to hurricane intensity in the next day or so. The forecast track has shifted a little westward as a result of the southward shift of the storm's center, but still brings Gustav toward the Louisiana coast early next week, possible as a Category 3 major hurricane. The forecast for our area the next week depends greatly on what Gustav does.
