(July 24, 2008)—(July 24, 2008)--No one was injured Thursday when strong winds blew off roofs and knocked down trees over several blocks of San Antonio, emergency officials said.
Deputy Fire Chief Rodney Hitzfelder says firefighters and other emergency officials were going door-to-door to assess the damage left behind after remnants of Hurricane Dolly blew through Thursday.
The roofs were blown off several homes and businesses, and power was out in the area.
The National Weather Service sent a storm survey team to determine whether the damage Thursday morning was caused by a tornado or simply strong winds.
