(September 10, 2008)—What may have been a tornado has damaged homes and cars in the Upper Florida Keys, but officials said no injuries were reported.

Monroe County authorities say the possible twister downed power lines, ripped up trees and flipped a boat around 4 a.m. Wednesday.

A tropical storm warning has now been lifted for the Florida Keys as Hurricane Ike takes aim at Texas, but officials expect gusty winds to continue in the Keys throughout the day.
