(November 21, 2008)—Overnight snowfall caught some residents of Virginia and North Carolina by surprise, even though forecasters predicted light snow.

In Norfolk and the Hampton Roads vicinity the snow didn't present too much of a problem for early morning commuters, but in Camden, N.C. it snowed enough that motorists had to clear windshields before setting out Friday morning.
