Small Quake Rocks Northern California
No injuries or damage were reported after a small quake shook Northern California.

(December 31, 2008)—No damage or injuries were reported after a small earthquake struck near the town of Cobb in Northern California.
The U.S. Geological Survey said the preliminary 3.0-magnitude quake struck at 7:31 p.m. Tuesday.
It was centered 4 miles southwest of Cobb, 24 miles north of Santa Rosa and 71 miles northwest of Sacramento.
Police in Clear Lake, which is near Cobb, said the earthquake was not felt in their office.
