How Much Has It Rained? A Lot, And We’re Not Done Yet
Rainfall totals of as much as 5 inches have been recorded over the last 48 hours in Central Texas, and more rain is coming.

(March 12, 2009)--As much as five inches of rain has fallen since Wednesday morning in Central Texas, and more rain is expected over the next couple of days.
At Lake Whitney, 5.14 inches of rain has fallen in the last two days.
Aquilla and Goldthwaite also report 48-hour totals of more than 5 inches.
At Fort Hood’s Robert Gray Army Airfield, 3.74 inches of rain has fallen.
Killeen reports 3.56 inches of rain.
Lake Waco reports 3.44 inches of rain and Waco Regional Airport has received 3.23 inches.
Lampasas has received 3.11 inches.
More widespread rain is expected Friday, which could again cause localized flooding, mainly southeast of a line from Goldthwaite to Canton.
Most of the rain will end Friday night, but showers will remain possible through the first half of the weekend.
