New Tropical Depression Forms In Atlantic
The second tropical depression of the 2009 hurricane season has formed in the Atlantic.

The second tropical depression of the 2009 hurricane season has formed in the Atlantic.

Tuesday morning, the center of Tropical Depression Two was about 350 miles west of the southwestern-most Cape Verde Islands.

The depression was moving west at about 13 miles per hour with maximum sustained winds of 30 miles per hour and could become a tropical storm within the next day of two, forecasters said.
