(August 23, 2009) - Clean up will continue on Monday after a fast-moving storm caused plenty of damage, and knocked out power to many residents.

At least one home in Hewitt sustained major damage to its roof after the storms swept through late Sunday afternoon.

Residents on Warren Road in Lorena say the storm hit their street around 4 p.m. on Sunday, knocking out power to the neighborhood.

Residents also said trees were knocked down, blocking the road for a short time.

On Spring Valley Road, wind gusts up to 70 miles an hour knocked down a 40-foot tree, and some 6-foot fences.

Residents in Falls County also reported damage.

There were no word of any injuries associated with the storm.
