Much-Needed Rain Leaves Central Texas Roads Slick, Slippery
Rainfall in Central Texas has been fairly steady overnight and early Friday but the much-needed precipitation however has made roads slick throughout Central Texas.

WACO (September 11, 2009)-Rainfall in Central Texas has been fairly steady overnight and early Friday.
The much-needed precipitation however has made area roads slick.
There have already been several radio reports of collisions throughout Central Texas.
Motorists are advised to slow down during their daily commute Friday.
A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for the following counties in Central Texas until 7:00 a.m. Sunday: McLennan, Bell, Coryell, Bosque, Falls, Freestone, Hamilton, Hill, Lampasas, Leon, Limestone, Milam, Mills, and Robertson Counties.
News 10 Meteorologist Brady Taylor says numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected during the next couple of days.
These showers could produce heavy rainfall, locally, with some areas possibly receiving two to four inches of rain.
