Earthquake Strikes South Of Indonesian Island
A 6.2 magnitude earthquake has struck south of an Indonesian island.

JAKARTA, Indonesia (November 28, 2009)—An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.2 has struck south of the Indonesian island of Sumbawa, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
There were no immediate reports of damage from the quake on Saturday.
Budi Waluyo, a seismologist from Indonesia's Meteorology and Geophysics Agency said a tsunami warning wasn’t issued because the undersea quake was not strong enough generate a tsunami.
The USGS said the quake struck at 2:04 p.m. local time 162 miles south of the town of Raba on Sumbawa.
