(December 2, 2009)—Snow fell Wednesday in parts of North and West Texas, but for the most part, it didn’t stick and no significant problems were reported.

Snow and rain were falling Wednesday morning in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and to the north and west.

The snowfall was moderate, and forecasters said no accumulations were expected.

A brisk northwest wind, meanwhile, was producing wild chills in the 30s.

A freeze warning is in effect overnight that includes Central Texas counties along and east of Interstate 35.
