Massive Snowstorm Shows No Sign Of Letting Up
A blizzard that’s battering the Mid-Atlantic region showed no signs of letting up Saturday.

WASHINGTON (February 6, 2010)—A blizzard that’s battering the Mid-Atlantic region has toppled trees on to apartment buildings and cars and two deaths have been reported.
Airlines canceled flights, Amtrak canceled service and churches called off weekend worship as officials warned people just to stay home.
A record of 2½ feet or more of snow is predicted for Washington alone.
As of early Saturday, parts of Maryland had gotten as much as 20 inches of snow.
Forecasters say it could be the biggest storm in the nation's capital in modern history.
Blizzard warnings have been issued for D.C., parts of New Jersey and Delaware and some areas west of the Chesapeake Bay.
Tens of thousands in the region were without power Saturday.
