Brady Taylor here with the weekend outlook: Sunshine and seasonably warm temperatures are expected through the weekend. Highs on both Saturday and Sunday will likely make it into the mid-to-upper 90s!
MILWAUKEE (January 17, 2014) Another round of frigid air is expected to arrive next week across the northern U.S., from the Dakotas eastward to New England.
It'll be cold, but not the life-threatening cold of last week, when subzero temperatures enveloped much of the country and contributed to at least a dozen deaths.
Bob McMahon of the National Weather Service said temperatures will start falling over the weekend into Monday.
Highs in parts of the Dakotas, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan will be in the single digits above or below zero, he said.
The cold air will then move eastward into New England, where temperatures will be about 10 degrees cooler than normal through next weekend, he said.
