BALTIMORE (September 21, 2012)--Pennsylvania has its groundhog, but Baltimore has a weather-predicting crab and next week week, Baltimore Bill will walk off a plank and drop into the Inner Harbor.
After he hits the water, if Bill heads to the left, we’re in for a warm fall, according to the makers of Old Bay seafood seasoning.
And if he heads right, the winter’s coming early.
Bill will take his swim next Wednesday.
On Feb. 2, 2013, Punxsutawney Phil will leave his burrow at Gobblers Knob to look for his shadow and determine how much winter remains.
