BOSTON (February 7, 2013)--The National Weather Service posted blizzard warnings Thursday for New York City and its suburbs, Boston, much of lower New England, and parts of New Jersey.
A powerful winter storm is expected to dump as much as 2 feet of snow in places.
The heaviest amounts are expected to fall Friday night into Saturday.
