DALLAS (June 17, 2013)--Much of the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area was under a flood advisory Monday morning as thunderstorms and rain pushed through North Texas.
The National Weather Service issued its advisory Monday for Dallas, Tarrant, Denton and Collin counties effective until 9 a.m.
Meteorologists warned that rains could cause flooding in streets and low-lying areas.
The line of storms was moving southeast across North Texas.
