Heavy Rain Forces Jets To Suspend Practice

CORTLAND, N.Y. (July 28, 2013)--The New York Jets suspended training camp practice because of severe storms Sunday and there was no immediate word on whether the session would resume later in the day.

Shortly after the start of practice, which was scheduled to be the first in full pads, drenching rains and lightning swept through the area in Cortland, N.Y., the team suspended practice and fans were told to leave.

The Jets don't have an indoor facility at SUNY Cortland in which to hold a full practice, but they can play indoors at their home facility in Florham Park, N.J.
