Nearly 1,000 Flights Cancelled At Chicago Airports

CHICAGO (March 5, 2013)--Airlines canceled nearly 1,000 flights Tuesday at Chicago airports because of a winter storm that is expected to dump as much as 10 inches of snow on northern Illinois.

The Chicago Department of Aviation said Tuesday that more than 770 flights were canceled at O'Hare International Airport.

Airlines canceled more than 215 flights at Midway International Airport.

No significant delays were reported at either airport.
