ROME (February 3, 2012)--Inter Milan's Serie A game at Roma on Saturday was delayed until Sunday because of a rare snowstorm in the capital, where it began snowing in Rome near midday Friday, leaving cobblestone streets covered with slush and prompting police to delay the game until Sunday afternoon.
Saturday's other match, Cesena vs. Catania, was also postponed, after 2 feet of snow fell at Dino Manuzzi Stadium.
No makeup date has been announced.
Six games have been postponed this week because of the ongoing snowstorm in central and northern Italy.
