SAN FRANCISCO (November 30, 2012)--The second in a series of storms was pounding Northern California Friday with heavy rain and wind, knocking out power and causing localized flooding.
Some coastal areas of the region were under a flash flood watch Friday morning and thousands of people were without power.
A power outage also affected the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge, where at least the suspension span was briefly in the dark.
Officials say another storm is expected over the weekend, creating the possibility of rockslides and mudslides in areas that are already saturated and have been affected by wildfires.
