NEW YORK (November 10, 2012)—Authorities continue to find victims nearly two weeks after Superstorm Sandy slammed New York and New Jersey.
An autopsy was being conducted today on a 64-year-old man who was found dead in the living room of his flooded home on New York's Staten Island.
Police officers found the body Friday afternoon after a concerned neighbor flagged them down.
The house sat yards from the ocean in the devastated Midland Beach neighborhood.
The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
More than 100 deaths are blamed on the storm.
The figure has fluctuated as authorities release more information.
