READING, Pa. (January 22, 2013)—A highway ended up coated with frozen soda after two 18-wheelers collided early Tuesday outside of Reading, Pa.
One of the two trucks, which collided at around 12:40 a.m. Tuesday on U.S. Route 422, was hauling 2-liter bottles of soda and hundreds of gallons soda spilled on the highway after the crash.
The soda froze in the early-morning cold and that forced authorities to close down a stretch of the highway for more than five hours Tuesday.
