TEMPLE (February 21, 2013)—A manufactured home ended up blocking the southbound lanes of Interstate 35 Wednesday in Temple after an accident in which the gusty wind may have played a role.
A wind advisory was in effect for the area at the time of the accident, which happened near the Berger Road exit and backed up traffic for about 6 miles to Big Elm road.
No one was hurt.
Investigators think a wind gust caught the side of the manufactured home, breaking the lag bolts that connected it to the trailer on which it was being transported.
