TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras (August 7, 2012)--Authorities in Nicaragua moved some people from low-lying areas and Honduras was considering evacuations as Tropical Storm Ernesto moved closer to the Central American coast.
The storm is expected to stay at sea while passing along the northern Honduran coast.
Authorities sent two weeks of food packages to some 600 families.
