McDonald’s to launch new plant-based burger

(CNN) – McDonald’s is getting in on the plant-based trend.
The fast-food chain is introducing the “McPlant,” its own plant-based burger.
The company is planning to test the new patty in key markets next year.
If all goes well, McDonald’s said it could eventually branch out to plant-based chicken and breakfast sandwiches.
