Focus of search for Texas teen who disappeared in 2006 shifts to Panhandle

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Detectives with the Austin Police Department are asking for help in a case involving a teenager spotted in Amarillo after her disappearance 15 years ago.
Roxanne Paltauf was reported missing in 2006 when she was 18, and cold case detectives are again looking into her disappearance.
She was last seen on July 7, 2006 in the area of Rundberg and Interstate 35 in Austin.
The family tells KWTX authorities later received tips she was spotted in the Amarillo area around the time of her disappearance.
Paltauf is 5-foot-4, weighs 115 pounds and has light brown hair and green eyes.
Investigators are asking anyone with information to call the missing persons unit at the Austin Police Department at (512) 974-5250.
