KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) - Killeen ISD announced that Danny Servance will lead the Ellison Eagles Athletic Department and Football team into the 2021-2022 school year as the new Athletic Coordinator for the campus.

Servance most recently served as the Head Football Coach and Athletic Coordinator at Odessa High School in Ector County ISD.

Prior to working for Ector County ISD, Servance was the Head Coach at Estacado High School in Lubbock ISD, where he guided the team to four district championships and secured nine playoff births over a nine-year period.

Servance graduated from Baylor University with a bachelor’s degree in communications and has three daughters. His family is excited to return to Central Texas over the summer and call KISD home.

Deputy Superintendent Dr. Eric Penrod said, “Coach Servance’s love of students, exceptional work ethic, and leadership traits will bring stability and heart to the Ellison High School athletic program.”
