Here we go... more rain chances to talk about as we head into the next several days. In fact, we keep showers and storms in the forecast for the rest of the week, the weekend, and into the first part of next week too. Tonight we are starting to see a few showers and storms along a stalled out boundary to our south. The overall best chances for storms, especially strong to severe ones, will be to our south and west. We do still expect a few showers and storms to pop up this evening but they should stay below severe levels for us.

Does it sound like we are on repeat? We kind of are... we are stuck in this same weather pattern and that won’t be changing for a few days so we can expect more of the same. Another wave approaches us from the northwest overnight but starts to die out as it gets to us. Areas west of I-35 could have some showers in the morning. Tomorrow afternoon, more redeveloping showers and storms possible, especially if that morning wave doesn’t make it here. Temperatures are also stuck with mornings in the 60s and afternoons in the upper 70s/low 80s.

Over the weekend, our cut off low, the one that’s kept the rain around, will be on the move... but it moves overhead and that will increase rain chances a bit for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with Saturday looking like the wettest day.

Beyond the weekend, we keep our wet-weather pattern for a few days next week before we shut off the faucet by the middle to end of next week.
