Prostitution investigation leads to raid on local spa; 3 arrested, $70,000 seized

HARKER HEIGHTS, Texas (KWTX) - Two women and a man were in custody Thursday after an investigation focused on The Foot Spa in the 300 block of West Central Expressway in Harker Heights culminated in the execution of search and arrest warrants.

Lin, Jingning, 48 of Harker Heights, is charged with aggravated promotion of prostitution; engaging in organized criminal activity, and engaging in organized criminal activity (money laundering).

Zhang, Hai Yan, 50, of Harker Heights, is charged with aggravated promotion of prostitution; engaging in organized criminal activity, engaging in organized criminal activity (money laundering)

Godfrey, Limei (Feng), 45 of Lago Vista, is charged with aggravated promotion of prostitution; engaging in organized criminal activity, and engaging in organized criminal activity (money laundering)

All three remained in the Bell County Jail Thursday where they’re held in lieu of bonds totaling $250,000 each.

The business, two homes and a commercial storage facility were also searched.

Additional warrants were served financial institutions in Bell and Harris counties.

Authorities seized more than $70,000 in cash and three vehicles.

Social services were provided to suspected victims of human trafficking by Refugee Services of Texas.
