Hillsboro, Texas (KWTX) - Nearly a dozen artists lined the historic Bond’s Alley in downtown Hillsboro for the Bond’s Alley Art Festival on Saturday and Sunday.

The annual festival was cancelled in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Sunday’s artist lineup included painters, pop-art makers and even an horseshoe artist making crosses and other sculptures out of welded horseshoes.

The festival was organized by the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce and Hillsboro Texas Main Street.

Organizers say the festival is the first event in Downtown Hillsboro since the pandemic.
