We finally dial down the daily rain chances but it get’s traded for some pretty hot, tropical, & sticky heat for the rest of the week. High temperatures for the next several days are expected to climb into the 90s and will be our first stretch of multiple days of this kind of heat this year.

Overnight clouds build back in and we could see some drizzle/fog in the morning. It’s not an official rain chance if you see a few sprinkles in the morning... that’s just how much moisture there is in the air. With a soggy ground below us and blazing sun above the humidity is going to be a battle for us over the next few days. Feels like temperatures will be in upper 90s & into the triple digits until at least Sunday. A system to our east on Sunday will try to bring us a small chance for rain for our eastern areas and low-end rain chances do pop-back in the forecast for several days next week.

This will be our first taste of real summer this season. Drink plenty of water, take lots of breaks, wear light-colored and lightweight clothing, and limit time outdoors to cooler times of the day, and lather up the sunscreen. Also, make sure fluids are not very cold or high in sugar/sweetener content. Summer is here and just getting started.
