(KWTX) - MOD Pizza at 1015 Jack Kultgen Expressway in Waco got a 95 on a recent inspection.

The health worker noted there was some cooked broccoli that needed to be covered in the fridge and there were some broken and chipped plates that needed to be thrown out.

Cancun Taqueria at 409 East McGregor Drive in McGregor got a 95 on a recent inspection.

The health worker noted the eggs weren’t cool enough, and that some people handling food were not certified to do so.

Marco’s Pizza at 100 Midway Center in Woodway got a 95 on a recent inspection.

According to the health department, the inspector held on to the report, so its details weren’t available.

The business has a history of violations, including three in June 2020 and four in December 2020.

The restaurant last good a perfect score on a re-inspection in December 2017, following 19 violations.

This week’s Clean Plate Award goes to J-Petal at 315 South University Parks Drive in Waco.

The specialty there is poke’ bowls, a Hawaiian dish that involves diced raw fish (usually tuna or salmon), mixed with all sorts of vegetables spices and sauces.

The restaurant even has sweet or savory crepes.

To wash it all down you can try the signature light bulb drinks.

They come in yummy green tea, sparkling water, or fruity colada.
