BRYAN, Texas (KWTX) - Searchers have recovered the body of a drowning victim from a Central Texas lake.

Bryan officers, firefighters, and game wardens responded to a report of a missing person at around 7:15 p.m. Sunday at Lake Bryan.

They learned a man who was swimming in the lake went underwater and never resurfaced.

Just before 8 p.m. searchers recovered the body of Santos Barrera-Menchu, 32, of Bryan.
