Former Mart standout, current University assistant named to College Football Hall of Fame Ballot

WACO, Texas (KWTX) - Former Mart Panther and current University coach Tony Miles has made the national ballot for the 2022 class that will be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.

The National Football Foundation (NFF) & College Hall of Fame announced the names on the 2022 ballot for induction into the College Football Hall of Fame, including 78 players and seven coaches from the Football Bowl Subdivision and 99 players and 33 coaches from the divisional ranks.

Miles was a two-time first-team All-American at Northwest Missouri State.

He led the team to back-to-back Division II National Championships (1998-99) and four-consecutive MIAA titles. Miles set MIAA and school records for career receiving yards (3,890), receptions (235) and TDs (37).
