Bryan woman arrested after child suffered broken leg during DWI wreck

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) A DWI crash in Bryan reportedly sent a child and a woman to the hospital and one of the drivers involved in the wreck has been arrested.

Bryan Police say Aquannette Jackson, 25, was intoxicated when she crashed into another vehicle around 10 p.m. on Wednesday night near Willis Van Hook Drive and Villa Maria Road.

She reportedly had three children between the ages of 4 and 7 in the car. Police say none of them had seatbelts on and one of the children broke their leg in the impact.

The other driver was also taken to the hospital with a broken arm.

Jackson is charged with three counts of child endangerment, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and driving while intoxicated.
